How to Create Power BI Account without a Business Email
Miscrosoft Power BI does not allow you to create an account using a personal email like gmail, yahoo, hotmail etc. You will need a business account to sign in. So what to do if you do not have a business email? Fret not, there is a solution for you! One of the possible workaround is to create a Microsoft365 developer account. As one of the steps in creating the developer account, you will be prompted to generate an email address with a Microsoft domain. Once created you can you this email to sign in to Power BI. Please watch the YouTube video below for a step-by-step instructions. The best thing of using a Microsoft email domain is that when you sign in to Power BI, you will get a pro license, not a free license. Pro license enables extra access e.g. to create workspace and share you reports or dashboards with other pro users. All these are not possible with free license. Try it out! It worked seamlessly for me.
